Introduction

At Indian Counselling Services, your trust matters most. This refund policy outlines our commitment to transparency and fairness in the event that services are cancelled or not fulfilled.

What This Policy Covers

This policy applies to all payments made for online courses, training programs, workshops, 1‑on‑1 counselling, internships, and related services offered by Indian Counselling Services.

Eligibility for Refunds

Change of Mind (Cooling-off Period):
Participants may request a full refund (minus any non-refundable registration fee) within 7 calendar days of the first payment—as long as the course or service has not begun.
Services Not Delivered:
If a course is cancelled by us, or counselling sessions don’t commence within 5 business days of payment, you’ll be eligible for a full refund, including the registration fee.
Non-Refundable Fees:
Registration charges are non-refundable in all circumstances.

How to Request a Refund

All refund requests must be submitted in writing via email to info[@]indiancunsellingservices.com within the applicable refund window.
Include your full name, enrollment details, date of purchase, and clearly state the reason for your refund request.

Refund Processing

Approved refunds are Credited within 14 business days of receiving your request and complete documentation.
Refunds are issued via the original payment method (bank transfer, card refund, etc.). We may request account details (e.g., cancelled cheque or bank statement) to facilitate this.

When Refunds Are Not Offered

Refunds will not be provided in the following cases:

After the cooling-off period expires.
Once a course or counselling session has begun.
For dissatisfaction with the learning content or counselling outcomes.
Due to missed sessions, including no-shows or last-minute cancellations (see Section 7).
Infrastructure or connectivity issues after services have commenced.
Any schedule or batch changes initiated by the participant.

Policy on Missed or Cancelled Sessions

Participants must inform us of a session cancellation at least 24 hours in advance. Missed sessions without proper notice are non-refundable.
If a session is cancelled by us for valid reasons, we will reschedule it at the earliest suitable time.

Exceptional Circumstances

Refunds may be considered in exceptional situations such as:

Extended illness (minimum six months) supported by medical documentation.
Death of the participant or an immediate family member (upon submission of relevant documents).

All other requests are evaluated on a case‑by‑case basis.

Other Transfers and Batch Changes

You may request a one-time transfer to another batch before the program starts, subject to availability.
Once a batch or course has commenced, transfers are not permitted, and refunds will not be issued.

Processing Fees

A nominal processing fee of 10% of the total amount paid, or ₹7,000, whichever is lower, will apply for all approved refunds. This fee helps cover administrative costs. The non-refundable registration fee is not included in this deduction.

Force Majeure

We cannot be held responsible for cancellations or delays due to unforeseeable events beyond our control (e.g., natural disasters, government restrictions, pandemics).

Dispute Resolution

In the event of a disagreement, we pledge to respond promptly and fairly. If the issue remains unresolved, it can be escalated through mediation or legal channels, in accordance with Indian consumer protection laws.
